A Kiss From Satan

312 pages

A sun-drenched, high-angst battle of wills where defensive bitterness clashes with irresistible, arrogant charm.

What it feels like

Reading this vintage romance feels like stepping into a time capsule of 1970s melodrama, where the Mediterranean sun beats down on a high-stakes battle of the sexes. The atmosphere is thick with emotional turbulence and the breathless tension of irresistible attraction fighting against deep-seated emotional scars. It moves at a brisk clip, driven by sharp, dramatic dialogue and the sheer force of its arrogant, larger-than-life hero. The prose is earnest and unapologetically intense, leaning into the heightened emotions of a heroine desperately trying to guard her heart. It is a perfect, escapist read for fans of classic category romance who delight in the push-and-pull dynamics of an alpha male and a fiercely reluctant heroine finding love against their own better judgment.

About the book

"Place your hand on a woman's heart and she's yours instantly," said the arrogant Greek Julius Spiridon, who was certainly devastating enough to know what he was talking about.

But Gale was not just any woman. She had been hurt and embittered after being cruelly let down by the man she loved, and had vowed never to let a man touch her heart again. So she was absolutely determined to fight the attraction she so unwillingly felt for Julius. It was, after all, only physical attraction she felt for him, not real love, so it ought to be easy enough to control.

Only it wasn't, and gradually Gale found herself being drawn into a situation she had never wanted but couldn't get out of. Was this man too going to break her heart?
