Berserk, Vol. 18

240 pages

A visceral, dread-soaked descent into a nightmare world where human cruelty rivals demonic malice.

What it feels like

Reading this volume feels like being dragged through a fever dream of blood, iron, and unyielding despair. The atmosphere is suffocatingly oppressive, drenched in the dread of a world where religious fanaticism proves just as monstrous as the literal demons lurking in the shadows. The pacing is propulsive and frantic, driven by a raw, desperate urgency that leaves you breathless. Yet, beneath the kinetic, grotesquely beautiful artwork and the relentless, visceral carnage, there is a profound emotional weight—a tragic exploration of trauma, survival, and the agonizing burden of protecting the vulnerable in a universe that wants to consume them. It is an uncompromising, dark fantasy masterpiece that delights readers who want their hearts broken and their adrenaline spiked in equal measure.
