Misbehaving with the magnate

192 pages

A sun-drenched, champagne-soaked second-chance romance where old class divides melt under the heat of undeniable, long-simmering passion.

What it feels like

Reading this book feels like stepping into the sun-drenched, intoxicating world of a French vineyard, where the air is thick with unresolved history and simmering tension. It moves at a brisk, addictive pace, driven entirely by the magnetic, push-and-pull dynamic between two people who can no longer hide behind the class divides of their youth. The mood is luxurious yet emotionally grounded, balancing the glamorous champagne-soaked setting with the raw vulnerability of a second-chance romance. The prose is sensual and direct, lingering on heated glances and the shifting power dynamics of a woman returning to her past as an equal. About the book

Gabrielle returns to the French chateau she has been driven from as a teenager by her austere mother, the family housekeeper, who wanted to keep her from a romance with Luc, the landowner’s handsome son. Gabrielle finds that she is still hopelessly attracted to Luc, but this time perhaps they can meet as equals, with her experience as a vineyard owner in Australia now able to match his background.
