Finding Me
291 pages
A fiercely honest, deeply cathartic journey through profound trauma to a place of radical self-acceptance.
What it feels like
Reading this memoir feels less like consuming a celebrity autobiography and more like sitting across from a wise, battle-scarred friend who is finally ready to tell you the whole, unvarnished truth. The narrative moves at a steady, deliberate pace, anchored by a voice that is breathtakingly raw and devoid of Hollywood gloss. It immerses you in a heavy, intimate atmosphere where the shadows of extreme poverty and generational trauma loom large, yet the overarching mood is one of fierce resilience. The prose is direct and conversational, hitting with the emotional precision of a masterclass monologue. It will deeply resonate with readers who crave radical vulnerability and those seeking a cathartic testament to the power of claiming one's own story.

About the book
This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.
As I wrote Finding Me, my eyes were open to the truth of how our stories are often not given close examination. We are forced to reinvent them to fit into a crazy, competitive, judgmental world. So I wrote this for anyone running through life untethered, desperate and clawing their way through murky memories, trying to get to some form of self-love. For anyone who needs reminding that a life worth living can only be born from radical honesty and the courage to shed facades and be... you.
