The narrative moves at a steady pace, allowing the emotional distance between a reluctant bride and her secretive husband to slowly, agonizingly close. It feels like watching a storm gather over a quiet country estate—there is a constant undercurrent of hidden vulnerabilities and unspoken fears, particularly surrounding illness and duty.
