Phantom of the Auditorium
251 pages
A delightfully spooky, theatrical romp through a haunted middle school where the drama on stage is eclipsed by the shadows in the wings.
What it feels like
Reading this book feels like sneaking into your school auditorium after hours. The air is thick with dust, shadows stretch a little too far, and every creak of the floorboards makes your heart race. It delivers that quintessential, safe-scare experience where the dread is playful rather than punishing. The narrative moves at a breakneck speed, pulling you through a maze of trapdoors, missing props, and eerie warnings, all punctuated by classic, breathless chapter cliffhangers. It captures the specific, nostalgic thrill of being a kid wrapped up in a local legend, blending the everyday drama of middle school theater with a delightfully creepy mystery. It is a perfect, popcorn-munching read for anyone who loves a good ghost story with a theatrical flair and a satisfying twist.

About the book
Hey, that's an awesome book. It talks about a girl and her best friend, who learn that there is a phantom haunting their school over the years and begin to explore that. R.L. Stine here, promises an amazing twist ending. What I liked the most about this book is that besides being spooky and extremely creepy, it is also interesting with small details. Thank God for its one of the best Goosebumps books yet. And yes, thanks to the Open Library. While reading I truly wished if its story never ends. So, book lovers, I recommend this piece to you! Happy reading.
