Spring fever

187 pages

A sun-drenched, dramatic outback romance where family feuds and tangled hearts collide under the vast Australian sky.

What it feels like

Reading this vintage romance feels like stepping into the rugged, sun-drenched expanse of the Australian outback, where the heat of the landscape is matched only by the simmering emotional tension. The narrative moves at a brisk, engaging clip, pulling you into a tangled web of family loyalties and romantic indecision. It is steeped in a nostalgic, melodramatic atmosphere that category romance readers will find deeply comforting. The prose is straightforward but highly evocative when describing the sweeping Gulf country, grounding the high-stakes love triangle in a vivid sense of place. It is a perfect, escapist read for anyone who delights in earnest emotional arcs, spirited heroines, and the classic trope of a heart torn between two brothers.

About the book

Dale Freeman was unaware that by accepting her Uncles’ offer of a position at their Club Hotel located in the Gulf country of northern Queensland that she would be placed in the middle of the long running family dispute of the Tavener’s Bridge Station owner. She was the girlfriend of one family member and engaged to marry his brother! The problem was she was unsure as to which brother she wanted; at least in the beginning.
