Summer in Hanover Square
384 pages
A sparkling, witty romp through the London Season where drawing-room banter masks a slow-burn romance.
What it feels like
Reading this traditional Regency romance feels like stepping into a brightly lit London ballroom filled with rustling silk and sharp-witted banter. The narrative moves at a brisk, delightful clip, sweeping the reader through the glittering rituals of the Season with a wry, observant eye. It is a cozy, elegant escape that trades heavy angst for sparkling dialogue and the delicious tension of a misunderstood heroine holding her own against a cynical aristocrat. The prose is crisp and period-appropriate, capturing the manners and mores of the era without ever feeling bogged down.
