Tangled Threads

256 pages

A tense, snowbound romance where the bitter cold outside is matched only by the volatile, simmering attraction trapped indoors.

What it feels like

This briskly paced romance thrives on the crackling energy of forced proximity and high-stakes deception. Set against the stark, claustrophobic backdrop of an isolated, snowbound cottage, the narrative traps the reader right alongside its protagonists in a pressure cooker of suspicion and undeniable chemistry. The mood is immediately tense and volatile, driven by the looming threat of an angry stranger and the desperate protective lies spun to keep him at bay. Yet, beneath the defensive posturing and urgent drama, a deeply romantic and intensely physical attraction simmers. It is a perfect read for those who love the classic trope of enemies trapped together in a winter storm, where every stolen glance and forced interaction only turns up the heat.

About the book

It was an explosive situtation.

Penny was trapped in an isolated, snowbound cottage with Mike Wolfe, an angry stranger itching to get his hands on her brother. In fact, she had no idea where Pete was, but it was evident he'd been up to something and Mike was intending to sort him out. All Penny could do now was to practise self-defence and pretend to this ruggestly attractive man that she was Pete's wife - things were volatile enought, without encouraging the intense physical attraction between them.
