The Relentless Moon

576 pages

A tense, locked-room thriller in space where mid-century political glamour masks a desperate fight for humanity's survival.

What it feels like

Reading this book feels like being trapped in a high-stakes pressure cooker where every breath counts. It masterfully blends the glamorous, gin-soaked aesthetic of mid-century political drama with the cold, unforgiving reality of space survival. The narrative moves with a propulsive, ticking-clock urgency, wrapping a locked-room mystery inside a broader tale of societal collapse and collective resilience. You are seated firmly in the mind of a fiercely competent, older female protagonist whose internal battles with anxiety and control are just as compelling as the external threats of sabotage. The prose is crisp and technically grounded, offering a deeply satisfying dose of competence porn. It is a perfect match for readers who love their science fiction laced with espionage, feminist grit, and claustrophobic tension.
