About the book

As the daughter of a bohemian artist Amelia Allen is aware that their family’s finances are insecure. She is consequently elated to learn that she has inherited a small estate from the family of her late mother. Although she finds herself drawn to him, she wishes he could recover from the misapprehension that she would be happy to become his mistress.
